CATHEDRALE NOTRE DAME – KINSHASA TOUR

Description

This brick building witha style influenced by the Art Deco movement of the 1930s and archetype of many churches built during this period in France and Belgium, was erected in the 1950s. The Cathedral  Notre Dame du Congo remains a very popular liturgical center in Kinshasa.

The cathedral was the place of funeral of many Congolese leaders including Papa Wemba.
